Photography school whose main goal is to put students in contact with professionals in the industry. Its faculty includes photographers, designers, gallery owners, artists, stylists and art directors.
The name of the school is inspired by the photographer Tina Modotti, a passionate, sensitive and committed woman whose photographic legacy, despite being scarce, reveals a personal way of living and understanding photography. As reported by Mayte Piera who, together with Miriam Lozano, directs the study center.
Espacio Modotti has several spaces open to the public: an exhibition hall and two shop windows. They exhibit both works by artists with a career and photographic projects by students.
The premises, with contemporary characteristics, have spacious and bright facilities. It is located in the Velluters neighborhood, very close to the Valencia School of Art and Design. An area considered the hub of design, the ‘design district’.
